History of Quifatex

1978

Quifatex Ecuador Foundation

The Company started with Swiss management and Swiss capital on May 26, 1978. At the beginning, we represented companies of chemical products and colorants. Throughout the time, we have incorporated new health and consumer product lines.

2007

New Distribution Center Guayaquil

Settled in Vía Daule (Guayaquil – Ecuador) in a 1,200-square-meter-field and a built area of 8,000-square meters with leading technology and infrastructure that guarantees process efficiency and efficacy.

2008

New Distribution Center Quito

Settled in Calderon (Quito – Ecuador) in a 1,400-square-meter-field and a built area of 9,000-square meters with leading technology and infrastructure that guarantees process efficiency and efficacy.

2011

Creation of Quicorp Holding

Quimica Suiza (Peru) founds Quicorp, International Holding which groups all the companies: In Ecuador, Quifatex; in Colombia, Quideca; in Bolivia, Quimiza, QSI, Vanttive, among others. This has led to offer a flexible and specialized regional structure.

2018

Intercorp acquires Quicorp companies

Quifatex is part of one of the largest corporate groups in Latin America, reaffirming its strength and focus on customers.

Quifatex celebrated its 40th anniversary

40 years of great achievements and the beginning of a new era, which motivates us to transform and provide better solutions to our clients.
